Is there anything on the market that will help prevent a wooden floor being marked by black and White rubber shoes?

I've sanded the floor and applied 2 coats of varnish.

Only thing is Dancers use this floor and it CANT be a slippery surface!

    Please advise --- TB

No is the simple answer. The problem is the rubber soles rather than the floor. What are used by lots of schools and dance clubs etc are non marking plimsolls.
