Glaze a door - in situ or horizontal?

    Hi

I have to re-glaze a four pane wood door. Would I be right in thinking I'm better off taking it down and lying it flat to reduce the chance of dropping a pane while putting it in? Or is it better to do it with the door hanging vertical as normal?

    Thanks

I would do it when it's hanging

Yep, glaze it whilst it's hanging. ;);)

    Thanks guys

I've have now done it and think it was indeed easier left in situ. I had visions of the glass falling out and smashing while trying to fix it but luckily that didn't happen. Reckon I made an OK job of it as well seeing as it's the first time I've ever tried it. No doubt saved myself a few quid.

    Thanks again.
