Asda's round our way,, but a word of warning,,,,, If ya get drunk in the wine, spirits and beer aisles, they call security and you get barred. ( and they dunna take too kindly to people playing darts near the bakery section either)
All i want for christmas is to find this pub TomPlum is on about where a pint £2.40 hahaha £3.20 is about the cheapest it gets down here
Mr Windsor, the pubs up Manchester/Lancashire way are much cheaper than the pubs where I live (Derby) Some years ago I used to work in Oldham (travel up on Monday and come back on Friday) Down here at the time, beer was around £2,90 -£3.00 a pint. In Oldham, the cheapest I found was about £1.90. Lads who came down from Manchester to work with me in the East Midlands always complained about the price of beer in the pubs. Anyrode, I really want to go to Tomp's bar (where the beer is free (tomorrow) . In one of my local pubs, the landlord is fond of telling everyone, he's buying all the beer next week,,,, and when it arrives, he's going to sell it to us.
I was walking down the High Street the other day when I thought I saw Tom on the other side, but when we crossed over it was neither of us.
