Conduit of course! ;) I have seen guys use everything from nothing, to the proper springs to buckets of hot water or an old hair dryer! So what's your chosen method? :)

Ive successfully bent 20mm PVC conduit using a plumbers pipe bender with the 22mm former.

yeah i have been shown this way too jit. far more accurate and pro finish than the flexible springs in my opinion. I have seen guys get good finishes with a bucket of warm water and a bend over the knee as well!:D

A proper conduit bender. Because steel is the true conduit.

I've been known to use the Hilmor on placcy conduit with a spring... Gives a good quick decisive bend. Bit big for lugging about on smaller jobs though ;)

Done the same but so rare I do this it's not worth spunking dosh for a bender. As the actress said to the Bishop.

Here is a few I did earlier, with smaller offsets.

If the conduit is left at room temp then it will be easier to bend, too much heat and the bend will collapse. Bit difficult as it will want to return back to its original shape.

Best bet if you want to bend it is not use the CED conduit, its so brittle it just shatters.

I much prefer to use MT conduit. It is superior.

If it's cold, warm it with friction of your hand and sleeve, if it's REALLY cold, a heat gun (rare). Bending over your knee is the norm, but I agree, with a steel bender with a spring inside conduit produces a lovely swept bend.

TBH, I would prefer to see no set. A spacer bar saddle should give enough clearance to use a female adaptor close to the back of the trunking, and perfectly aligned for accessory knockouts.
