    Hi,

My cold water tank has been overflowing recently. Today I replaced the ball valve with a type 2 high pressure ball valve to fix this but it's not completely worked. I turned the water back on and when I lift the ball valve the water stops flowing, however, the ball float isn't floating.
Any ideas what is wrong as I'd like to fix it myself without calling out a plumber if it's easy to rectify.
    Thanks

  2. Must have a hole in it and water getting in,therefore not floating.
Get a new ball if this is the case.

Almost certainly that, if you unscrew the ball you will feel the water in it, try getting the water out though, is nigh on impossible. :):)

It's easy to get the water out- just drill another hole on the other side.

Then replace with a new ball :)
