The waste pipe has a drip on it sometimes. I have been into the roof and the pipe is dry and there is no sign of a leak .

In the bathroom below though every so often today I can see a drip of wAter but in the roof it is dry.

Has anyone come across this before or know what it could be .

I take it, from your description, that the soil pipe goes into the loft and vents through the roof.

If so, could be the seal around roof tile, or even some condensation forming.

Anyway, I'm speculating...as Dave says, more info needed :)
