Conti board is a trade hame a bit like Hoover, Conti only comes in 15mm thick and upto 30" wide so you need to be looking for Melamine Faced Chipboard - MFC.

Don't know where you are but I'm near Croydon, Surrey and use Richard Russel, they do both MFC & Veneered boards & rolls of edging to suit.

Hope you have a nive sharp laminate blade for that MFC

If you're near Sheffield or Oldham then look for Hills Panel Products - large distributor of MFC and MDF sheets.

If you go to Conti Boards site you will find that they DO NOT manufacture 15mm board only 18. The boards are lined with hard wearing plastic strip. Unfortunately they have now changed from imperial to metric sizes.
    Visit them at www.conti.co.uk

Are you wanting oak veneer or oak melemine?

Oak veneer go to james Latham

Oak melemine james latham for jumbo sheets or Hills panels for cut and edged boards.

Conti board isn't the best, either eggar of kronospan

If he hasn't got his chipboard yet, I'd guess he's never going to find it. This post started nearly 3 years ago!

I was at B&Q last night looking for 15mm contiboard. They have now gone metric, and all of their contiboard (except white) is now 18mm.

    Morning all,

I appreciate this is quite an old thread, but I am looking for an MFC supplier in the West Mids or Staffordshire area. I need a load of 500mm x 18mm boards to do some wardrobe interiors - anyone know of a supplier in this area?

    Cheers,

    Andy
