I need to connect a sink and dishwasher waste pipe to my external stack. The pipe run will be just under 5m.

What is the minimum diameter pipe i can use. Ideally i do not want to put in an AAV.

    Many thanks,

    Ben

40mm & use solvent weld, not push fit & you shouldn't need AAV as your stack will have a vent.

There is no reason why you couldn't go down to 32mm, use solvent weld as KIAB suggests.

I kept it simple, using 40mm, as the sink trap will 40mm, & dishwasher might use standpipe, again 40mm, it saves on using reducers to step down from 40mm to 32mm.
