Happy Birthday to the 60th.................................. EUROVISION SONG CONTEST ON THE 23rd May 2015. A least it's different - a kind of Twenties song with an electro backing. Think tom will like this one (remind him of his teens) Do take a listen and post up what you think of it. Here's a link to the other songs http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/profiles/2ywZQzMgyt6jlx0vV454ttk/songs-2015 Should be a good nights Saturday entertainment for a change (at least it must improve on last years winner).
Och, our Graham is well good too. But, that's a GREAT song Ok, we won't win for political reasons, but I reckon it won't disgrace us either. (Cough - not that I watch of course... )
I used to only tune in at the voting stage. Just for the Terry Wogan banter. Now I just tune in right at the end just to see how many 'pwan' we haven't got! Mr. HandyAndy - Really
I must admit it would have been good to have had Terry back for the 60th birthday. Especially as the Balkans don't have the control of the outcome as much as they had four or five years ago and this is what seemed to depress Terry (Balkan states would only vote for each other). I'm hopeful for a good showing this year as there do seem to be a lot of dour ballads this time so the UK may just click. Australia are in the completion this year (as a one off) and I must say that it is a good tune and we could get 12 points off them for our song especially with it's http://phrynefisher.com/ connection.
I watch it because the wife does But is the best song we have had for years. You never know, but I won't tempt providence.
Some not so clever product placement there by the advertisers eh big hammer!!! Oddly enough I just feel like eating a potato waffle right now Tappy,
