My 7 year old just got a merit at school for debugging a program in Scratch. Good they are still learning code. I was BASIC then Assembly code. Real hardcore stuff. Though friends could write short programs in machine code
Don't know much about Scratch, too modern for me, I was brought up on C++ ,etc, so had a quick read up on it, surprised it's designed especially for ages 8 to 16. Such an important skill learning to code/ programming in todays world, good your kid's school is teaching it, & it's a shame more schools don't give more time to the subject & even add it to the curriculum. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scratch_(programming_language)
Yes, computers and technology are completely overrated aren't they? Btw. I was really impressed with how you posted your last message using nothing more than two tin cans and a length of wet string.
"Outdoorsy" I'm a compasionat man, and I commend your courage for typing such a word. It shows you are trying. You'll get there, champ. One step at a time!
