Acrylic primer, water based undercoat & top coat.

hi - any help is much appreciated. I've just spent the last day priming new mdf skirting/architrave in oil based coat. Picked up the wrong tin! I wanted to use water based. Can I continue onto the undercoat and top coat using water based as I much prefer to use it? I'm using Matt White as I don't like the gloss look. Cheers
