I have a rendered wall with high build textured paint that is peeling in various places. Rather than buy more high build paint I am wondering about adding sand to paint to fill out the areas before adding a top coat. What do you think?

Alternatively I could float on exterior filler and stipple it

Could do with a coat of Everbuild 406 stabilishing soution before painting on that area, will bind any loose sufaces ready for painting.

Did it when making dolls houses, can't see why it wouldn't work on the full sized one!

Forget sand, some of the paint today would benefit from adding paint to it!:confused:o_O

Sorting out the damp issue first would be a good place to start.
