    Hi Everyone,
Currently my soil stack runs through the sloping roof extension of my house, I am planning on replacing the flashing and am looking to fit a air admittance valve in the roof space so I don't have to shape the new lead around the pipe and seal the existing hole for the pipe.
My questions are can I do this and would I have to fit a roof vent or is the eves ventilation adequate? Only the toilet is connected to the stack.
    Thanks in advance
    Richard

is this a stack at the end of the drain run? if so leave the open vent as is.

as for venting sitck a tile vent in to be sure.
