    Other things to consider here yozzer (although there are more considerations) are;

    Took me six days - was that your initial time estimation or did you estimate higher or lower

    Working on day rate, estimate or quote price (fixed)

    I'm with chippie on this one I look at earning around £200 per day on kitchens. Just fitted a smallish kitchen, 5 base units, 5 wall units. 1 larder unit, 2 work tops with 2 mason mitres with a sink cut out. £700 took 2.5 days, had a lad with me for half day to fit work tops as akward spaces going in and out to scribe etc.

    I estimated 5 but it was a ***** very tight space walls like bananas had to cut plasterboard and insert timbers on hollow walls thermalite blocks ***** to get a fixing no first fix done on electrics and did worktops on my tod never again tho I usually enjoy kitchens but this one was a ***** and was glad to see the back of it

    You're too cheap, even on mates rates it's £150 a day. This is down South.

    And yes I gave a fixed price so I should be working on £150- £200 per day?

    I know the lad so was trying not to charge him to much but I won't make that mistake again

    Depends which way you look at it. A lot of people would be quite happy to earn 650 a week!

    Did you do any electrics / gas ?
    Way underpriced. £250 day including sundries. Should be done in week easy so £1250. Would clear £1000 after buying bits of plumbing / electric / fixings / blades / waste.

    As long as you didn't loose money.
    Some pounds a day is better than no pounds a day. You won't make that mistake again.
