I love my garden paving. This is what I have. It's a wonderful colour and looks beautiful in the summer. I want to protect it with a sealant; however, I see most have that horrible 'wet-look' which I really don't want. I want it to look like there is nothing on there what-so-ever. Is there any clear, 'dry-look' sealant available on the market? Cheers, gang!
Most sealers will give a wetlook gloss appearance,as most are acrylic basedI usually use Everbuild Path & Patio Seal which gives a low sheen with two coats or semi gloss with three coats. http://www.everbuild.co.uk/405-Path-Patio-Seal Resiblock Sealer might be worth a look, they do a gloss & matt version, NOT cheap though, might find it cheaper if you look around. http://shop.resiblock.com/products/resiblock-superior-natural-matt-sealer
Resiblock is what is used in a lot of commercial sites very, very good product and unlike most sealers won.t turn the surface into a skid pan when it rains. Typically one application will last 5-7 ysars
Darn good product, that's what I like about it, non slip, unlike some of the acrylic based products. It's one of the few you can safely use on Indian Sandstone without the skidpan (teflon) effect. It ain't cheap for 5ltrs, but I think the expense is worth it, for it's estimated lifespan.
I got a load of slate pavings stones cheap and did my back yard and patio. With my teenage kids and myself pottering around over it dropping bits of oil, paint and the odd bits of red wine the Resibloc has held up well
