First let me explain my equipment & setup

Freesat box is a Digital Dragon with firmware up to date (as far as I can tell using the info in the link), the same as this one on flea bay for reference only http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271651558626 it is coupled to a MK4 Sky dish with Quad LNB, the same as Sky uses, it is the coupled to a screened wall-plate which also has a RF socket & the external TV-Aerial fitted.

From the Wall-Plate the RF cable goes to the (ANT-in On) the Freesat with the RF fly lead from the (TV-Out) to the (ANT-In) on the TV, with the F-Plug fly lead from the Wall-Plate to the (LNB-In) then (HDMI-Out) to the TV's (HDMI-In)

I get quite a good signal on the Satellites & DVBT

For example: Using CH5 for consistancy

The digital dragon freesat came in English, however I had to go into the Menu > Installation > DVBT Installation > DVBT Auto Scan > Country & choose United Kingdom from the default Germany, before it would find any channels.

I get pretty much every channel in this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_free-to-air_channels_at_28°E , with the exception of Meridain / Granada unless not listed as Meridian / Granada as (For Example there is a load of just ITV's without their regions listed

Now onto the issue(s) at hand with the EPG which has been happening since day 1 of install in December 2014

On DVBT / it lists all the days programs including the previous aired daily programmes (as it should)

On the Satellites the EPG only lists the Now & next, the rest of the days listing(s) are blank

    1. Is this most likely to be an alignment issue
    2. Is this most likely a firmware issue
    3. Is this common / Known issue
    4. Is this a setup issue
    5. Or other issue

I am leaning mostly towards (Firmware)

Where would you suggest I start & what further info (if any do you require)

All connections are fine & there was Petroleum Jelly AKA Vaseline, put on the external connections (to protect from the elements)

If this is a Firmware issue,

Could you point me in the right direction to a known fully EPG working Freesat / FTA box as cheap as possible, preferable with 2 USB's for simultaneous recording

    Whilst I appreciate you trying

TBH I wouldn't pay out the £50 per year or any other subscription, (Bad enough paying for a TV Lisence) & since it's supposed to be FREEsat I never did have to subscribe to anything with FREEview, & since I get all the channels on a <£25 box but not a full EPG clearly does not warrant excessive money for a unit & or subscription

I have asked in another forum & was informed https://www.avforums.com/threads/fta-freesat-epg-issue-s.1935860/

Here in a brand new, Freesat Approved Receiver for <£60 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Manhattan...e-Receiver-Astra-28-2-7-Day-EPG-/261369344788 therefore your £100 pricing, for entry level needs to be reviewed & updated. ;)

    F.Y.I

It is only the EPG on the satellites that are affected  as the Freeview (DVBT) Works fine

Well well well, I never expected that attitude, & expected better from member(s) on here :(

Just because I friendly refuted your £100 price tag (with proof) for entry level  as why you are Shouting @ me to "JOG ON" (your words, not mine) in my thread
