Hey, I've been looking for upvc windows with an authentic wooden style and came across a few websites offering "the look and feel of real wood" such as the woodgrain page on http://www.diysashwindowsdirect.co.uk has anyone seen the quality of the finish on these types of windows and if it looks genuine or is clearly plastic? Thinking of purchasing light oak woodgrain from these suppliers. Thanks for any input.
If I was in your position I'd either visit their showroom/unit unless they're 200miles away from you or get in touch with them via email, explain you're interested in their products and ask for a small sample of their various upvc woodgrains via post, can see in person then.
I know someone who had black PVCu ones fitted, looked nice for a while.........they turned matt grey after 3 years.
Woodgrain upvc windows puts off a lot of buyers, if you were ever sell your house, peeps like white or white wood effect ok.
My wife just had the first two installed of the same , nice quality , usual downside is amount of light let in , not enough PVC wood effect around for my liking , how am I supposed to get my cheap auction double glazing units in the future , I rely on peoples poor taste as an investment
User name is a big clue as to it being spam, considering its as close as to the web site in the 1st post.
