Anyone used Newton damp-proofing membrane?

Further to my post last week about penetrating damp, I've started to remove the render from the walls and the brickwork underneath is extremely uneven (Victorian brickies eh...) so my plan to just paint the walls with damp-proofing paint and then Jablite/plasterboard directly over has gone for a Burton.

I'm now looking at applying Newton 803 non-meshed damp proof membrane to the wall and then dry line. Has anyone had experience of using Newton membranes and any advice?
