Best time of year, always remember walking through piles of leafs mounted on pavement.

May visit garden center to have a look at bulbs (non electric) :) to plant then see hard work paying off come spring.

  2. Any nice woods to walk around where you are, Jit?

A really good forest is a rarity around here, sadly - have to contend with miles of sandy beach instead :rolleyes:

Not been in the woods for a while.

Looking to go next week to the garden center, a little effort is all that is now needed.

Was out in the back garden today, there is a large silver birch nearby.

Just amazing experience sitting down, listening to the leaves fluttering in the wind, and small leaf type things (about 5mm) in the air.

Leaves on the road used to make life "interesting" when riding a motorcycle

Looking to plant some bulbs, can I cover them over with bark chippings or small gravel?

Want to keep the area weed free so need something to cover over :)

No reason why not, they will push their way up when it's time, just plant bulbs at their recommended depth.:)

Just be conscious that weeds will push through as well.
