How much discount do you get J, and where from? Even nosier !!

 

I got 10% at a Dulux Decorators Centre this week and they forgot to charge me for a set of Purdeys. Well chuffed.

 

Did they say thank you for being so honest when you pointed out their error? :^O

 

Just been to my local Buy & Queue and asked about
their trade card.... Terms are no discounts just
extended credit!!!!

That's really worth having. No wonder they are losing money. Christ, even the over 60's get 10% if they buy on a Wednesday

Perhaps you ought to get a walking stick do a lot of grunting and get all your gear on a Weds, Astra

i get a 10% discount on everything. not much really, considering the money i drop in their

 

I have a mate who works at B & Q in a managerial role and he is able to get me 25% discount of the entire range.

B&Q will give "Trade" discounts for account customers if you are buying in bulk etc.

 

apparently screwfix staff get approx 50% off their range, but it is more limited than the b & q range

I thought i would go in and ask and see what discount we get.
Wait for it........ If you spend over £30 in the trade section, you will be entitled to a <u>FREE</u> Breakfast, and free coffee or tea.

The only discount you get is when your over 60.

I also popped into my local homebase, and they are doing a trade card, and I think you get 10% off, I didnt take a lot of notice as was arguing with the manager at the time, so saw the leaflet out of the corner of my eye, and I'm sure you get 10%, but you have to fill it in there and then, then they ring up head office or something to get it verified.
