I've just quit my job long story short they was paying me £65 a day and were not prepared to increase it and I was out doing most of the jobs on me own, I did the right thing, do you agree?

65 quid a day isnt good.Looking at it from a business perspective I would ask 2 questions. How much were you earning your boss per day and whats the quality of your work like(was there many call backs to put things right as this reduces profit or in some cases actually costs you money)

depends if you have somewhere to go, £65 a day is better than f'call a day,

You made a stand and if we all did this wages would have to improve.
A lot of tip top site plumbers are now looking for work and because there is not much work about at the moment these plumbers will work for very low wages.
The bosses know this of course.
Hang on to your job would be my advice in the current climate.

£65 a day is hardly even the legal minimum wage,I’m sure you can do better in most other jobs! Sure you will find an employer who will appreciate your abilities and not rip you off.Good luck!

Ah,sorry missed the date! £65 a day then would be about £85 now,but still not a lot for the Berkshire area.
