I have a Baxi Bermuda back boiler gas fire in the house we've recently moved into. It worked fine but today it wouldn't light. There's a wire coming up from the floor with a three hole connector on the end which must have been plugged in somewhere but we can't see anywhere it can go! Can anyone help in very simple language?!

    Could you post a picture.

I reckon that the pilot lights gone out, if it had been working before.

do you mean the fire won't light or the back boiler won't light ?

sounds like the mains supply cable. Get a engineer in, dont stick your hands in there.

Will try and post pic tomorrow. It's a lead with a sort of wedge-shaped plug on the end with 3 holes

yea I know what you mean, the wires will limit its position so you can't go far wrong, the plug goes upward and will only go one way use a mirror to look around the bottom of the fire,
