Ok so I was recommended BAL SBR Bond primer to prime my newly plastered walls with before tiling, which I have done, however I was a bit over enthusiastic and used it on an area I am going to paint with bathroom emulsion. My question is does any one have any experience of this will the paint stick to it?

    I have rung:
    BAL "ring paint manufacturer"
Dulux "Don't know never tested it ring BAL"
    Crown " Don't know untested"

They all suggested trying it first to see what happens.

    Suggestions please

PS have posted in the painter forum aswell

if you lightly score along the edges of where you want to change to paint, it can be peeled off fresh plaster fairly easily.
Failing that, sand it a bit and paint over it.

You could always prime it with BIN shellac based primer prior to final decoration. That stuff sticks to pretty much any surface.

Zinsser BIN may dry out to being a brittle surface for a bathroom application you really need the more flexible Bullseye 123 as stated yesterday this has a latex formulation.
