    Hello Gents,

    Please I need a hand here. I have a Barn sliding door kit (Google or Youtube it) to install in place of a convention swing door to save space. However I have 3 problems;

    1. What type screw/sleeve or anchor can I use to hold the track that will support a 44mm 40kg door safely. It will be mounted to an interior solid brickwall (1930’s house)

    2. What is the cheapest way (buying a machine or using hand tools) to create a groove on the bottom underside of the door so I can install a floor guide?

    3. Does anyone know what type of wall spacer this is below and what’s is called in the UK and where I can buy them from?

    Many thanks. Guys.

    Regards

    The fixing for barn sliding doors vary from manufacturer - what make is yours ?

    similar with the floor track, you usually get sliders or wheels to fit a floor track if fitted - some barn door kits don't require a floor track
