Hi, I have a freshly plastered bathroom to paint, I was thinking of using bathroom specific paint on both the cieling and walls (Dulux, Crown, etc) what prep does the plaster need for good adhesion?
I have painted plaster in the past using a 50/50 emulsion mix as a wash coat then painted over that with good results but is there any other prep work I need to undertake due to this being a bathroom and having humidity and heat being ever present?

    Hi John
Same prep to seal new plaster as you have done before
The 50/50 ratio will depend on how thick the paint is to start with , varies with makes but yes same method
1 st rule though is that the plaster is fully dry before starting
