My Son Has just purchased a flat and the above boiler would not start up, removed the pump freed it up and the boiler now works great on the heating but no hot water. I have noticed that the DHW pressure differential valves pushrod does not open and close when you either put the heating and hot water on or just the hot water on, however I can manually open the metal strip on the micro switch and this does cause the boiler to fire up but again the push rod does not open and no hot water, I have removed the microswitch bracket and manually pulled the rod in and out but it will not do it when the boiler asks for hot water???? Sorry No I am not gas safe although I have been a plumber since 1979 so appreciate any helpful advice

Usually the dhw diaphragm is required.Available at online/collection at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Baxi-comb...Kit-5111137-/282378212093?hash=item41bf0d92fd

OR plumb center at a local branch collection (check stock before travel) http://www.plumbcenter.co.uk/product/potterton-5111137-diaphragm-service-kit/

There are some vids on youtube, video is of a similar boiler in the same manufactures family but the brassware/diaphragm is the same.

Turn off mains water ONLY ! to boiler only,Its a dhw water part so diy able for a competent person but a boiler gas service check is recommended.
