Hi all, I have just had a new central heating system installed in my bungalow.

At the bottom of the radiator drops the pipe has been bent rarther than using 90 degree fittings?

Is this normal practice as I can't recall seeing it done this way before.

    Many thanks

I would have thought bends would have less resistance as well for the pump, though how much actual difference it would make!....

Dont we all, several failed sets go into the spidge bag

  8. Bends are better than elbows in every respect. Except possibly aesthetic in some cases as they take up more room?

As it is a drop loop, has the plumber fitted a drain point?
