   Anyone got experience with this stuff? I've got a lovely early 90's mahogany staircase to cover with Landing/Hall banisters (Bannister about 4 metres long).
   
   How much would i need to suitably whiten that lot you think?

   Depends what type of bin sealer you are referring to.
   
   Your only sealing the paint and wouldn't really recommend it as finish but you would ideally need 1-2 coats
