    Hello everybody

Out of the blue, our Worcester boiler started firing up, and now the central heating keeps running without prompting from the wireless thermostat. We have a standard RC Plus from British Gas, and a WR1 receiver. The boiler runs on the Eco mode, so the default pre-heating shouldn't cause the problem.

Any idea how we get get the boiler back to normal?

    Many thanks in advance!!

try resetting the RC sender, they can easily be interfered by various other RC and bluetooth gadgets even a passing dog with a chip can send them off topic,

Exactly that.. You can change the frequency on the stat normally, tiny little connectors on stat.
Door bells, appliances, etc etc mess with them all the time,
My advice..fit a wired one buddy
