hello folks. any idea what this metal fitting is called? it goes on the bottom of a wheeled shop counter. It acts as a brake, i think, which operates separately from the wheels on the counter. i asked the people who were working on the counter, but they didn't know. i need something like it cheers!
Don't know about that 1 in particular. But castor wheel with brake is the general idea. Try a search on internet ?

Coffee, awake now , pretty sure yours is a Brauer FL-0206. https://www.brauer.co.uk/fl-0206-floor-locks-pr1909.aspx
If you wait a bit more, Kiab will tell you the year it was made and whether the machinist was left or right handed
