Can i run all these cables through a single hole in the wall?

A sparky said i couldn't but seeing as it is all brand new double insulated cable i don't see the problem. My last house i rewired. All the different size cables were bundled together and the electrician still signed it off.

  2. As long as the hole is of a sufficient size, yes there is no problem.

bunching cables tightly together should be avoided , how many of each cable are we talking about ? what size hole and what depth ?

So as long as it pulled through without snagging? It's near central heating pipes with lagging on is that ok too?

And if it is a cavity wall, a sleeve is a good idea.

Its all in a ceiling over a breeze block stud wall then through a cavity wall in to under stair cupboard. I will definitely look in to tubes now that you meantion it as the cable through the wall to the outside lights had been chewed by mice.

Should i use a particular kind of tube?

Just take look at how all of the cables get into your consumer unit.

The common way is for all of the cables to enter the consumer unit through a single hole in the back.

    Yes, all of them
    2x ring final circuits
    2x lighting circuits
    A 40A shower
    32A cooker
    16A immersion heater
    And probably more.
Does anybody worry about that? No.

    So your problem isn't a problem. It's your electrician…

Edit. If you had all of those running together over a long distance, on cable tray then maybe an allowance for bunching might be necessary.. but you'll be fine.
