Can it be done?

    Hi all got to move a rad to another wall fitted French doors where old one was concrete floors so can't re route.theres a rad on the opposite side of the wall to where new one wants to go question is can I tee off of the feeds coming up to that rad and reduce down to say 10mm plastic run through wall and fitt to new rad will this be ok it's a gravity fed system with oil boiler thx

    if existing rad pipework is 15 mm ,you can go 15 mm to new position rad.do not reduce. sometimes it can be bit tricky to balance both rads but achievable. use copper ,soldered joints. 10 mm is not really worth trying ,if the original rad is supplied on 10mm it may work but I doubt it.

    gravity systems can be a problem when reducing keep at 15mm

    Keep it to 15mm.
