Carpenters mate herts/cambs

I'm 24 and i'm Set on becoming a carpenter preferably via learning on site and eventually taking an onsite assessment and 6 months ago started working with a chippy but due to financial reasons i had to stop and go back plastering. I have 5 years site experience mainly in plastering but have also worked as carpenters mate and labourer. I have been messed around left, right and centre with with false promises and money and have had the unlucky fortune of working with cut throats and users. I'm a hard worker and take pride in my work i just need the opportunity to do the job i have a passion for. I have basic hand tools, drill, CSCS and i drive. If there are any carpenters in Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire region willing to take me on I would be happy to hear from you.
