central heating doesn't kick straight in

I've a issue with my heatline capriz plus boiler, on setting the stat to call for heat the boiler fires up for a few seconds, temperature goes up then the boiler runs slower and temperature drops. It does this maybe 2-3 times then kicks in full.
No problems with hot running water.
Wondering if its something simple before i call engineer.

  2. Could simply be finding its feet - in a modulating sense.

It's monitoring how fast the heated water can be sent around the system - how hard it can heat the system water - and will then modulate to the right level.

    Probably.

Does it have a flame every time it fires, if not you could be looking at a flame rectification issue.
How long does it fire for before dropping off?

The fitter said a lot of the new boilers have an eco built in so it doesn't blast straight away? Basically the heating hasn't been on and when you put it on from say cold it will rise up to say it will work slow for a few seconds then speed up,temp goes upto about 40 degrees then it slows down again,it will do this till it gets to around 60-65 degrees then its away, but if you put the boiler on again in say a few hours it just goes to full output is if to say the water in the rads are up to a reasonable temp.

Yeah the flame symbol is lit,it fires for a few seconds then drops off but when it gets to about 60 its away and never misses a beat.

The hole thing takes around 10 minutes from cold, once warm is fires straight up.

Is it wired up ok? Should have a permanent supply, almost sounds like it is doing an initial start up when there is a call for heat, some boilers run at a low setting to start with (filling the condensate trap etc) before running normally.

The fitter has been out and he said its fine, aparently it goes through a sequence to check temps etc filling condensate trap like you said.
    So alls good,thanks guys
