Check out my new project, just brought these 4 x chairs for 99p!

I gonna clean up, glue and cramp up the loose joints. New seat coverings too.

The chairs if new would cost a fortune.

    They're pretty smart.

    Actual oak or another hardwood?

    They look like oak.

Brought some new chairs from the internet and they broke down within 3 months of use, cost nearly £30 each!

Sometimes when I'm at the tip, I see people throwing out good items which are all very easily repairable.

They are made of oak, should come up well with a coat of paint!;)

A quick coat of Farrow and Ball, a light rub down and change the fabric on the seats to Kath Kitson and you've got yourself £100-£200.

Jit, post a picture when you have restored them or as the modern saying goes ...upcycled them. Fabric well wants ditching.

  12. You are all a bunch of rotters.

Jit has worked his guts out on these chairs. As can be seen by the fabric.
