I don't think about it until christmas eve, every year I do all my shopping on the xmas eve, best way, people get what is left, normally a card with money in it, as I tend to go straight to the pub and then loose all interest in shopping.
Its become a tradition for me.

Christmas Eve for me too Wiggy...not with the shopping so much as we have had a rule for quite a long time now that the adults don't buy each other pressies, we only buy for the youngsters, but that's when I get into the 'spirit' a bit...for a couple of days anyway :)

I tend to make my first stop the star in guildford and then amble up the high street to the 3 pigs and if I haven't found anything in that distance its the good old fail safe of cash.
Its all about the kids though, not some grumpy bah humbug like me

This early! I would burn the house down. Light the tree and run. And don't look back.

At least you won't have to deal with that bodge job of a wall:D

I am not a regular churchgoer but one of my best Christmas treats was a visit a couple of years ago to a carol service at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral. Wow that is one impressive building. Carols with accompaniment by the Grand Organ which is the biggest in the UK. The deep bass notes it can reach are just incredible.

To avoid taking down my Christmas lights, I’m turning my house into an Italian restaurant.
