Really depends on what type coffee you drink. Do you like fresh ground beans, or filtered etc. Do you want long standard, or espresso or latte etc. Do you like different tastes and strengths at different times of day. How many cups a day How much is the budget. Can make good fresh coffee at few pennies a cup or pounds per cup
I have a Nespresso Lattissima Its convenient in that one button does the whole thing (coffee and milk) and it tastes quite nice. However the milk thing needs washing out after use. Gets occasional use at the weekends, most of the time I'll make an instant coffee!
That is the issue with most machines. More time spent keeping it clean than using it. There are much more simple and effective ways of fresh coffee. But everybody has different useage requirements, so there is no 1 answer to fit all. Fresh coffee can be made with no more effort than to make tea with a teabag. Think filter systems.
