    Dear Experts,

I have ordered a metal shed 8x4. I have dug out the garden and levelled it off.

I would like to know what mix (and ratio) I should you use for the base?

Should I use sand, cement and aggregate or can I just use sharp sand and cement?

    Thanks

  2. Use all in ballast (sand and aggregate pre mixed) at a ratio of six to one

As above, much easier to get a regular mix ratio using ballast.

You haven't said how thick your laying it, but for a shed base 100mm with a 150mm toe around all edges will do, the toe only needs to be 300mm wide.
