    Hi,

I'm just about to install a tall vertical radiator
    (Screwfix id 21119)
in my basement conversion. Is there any reason why I should not run the pipework into the top of the rad?
How would it be vented? Not required??
Would it have a problem not getting hot at the bottom??

sometimes those type of rads have specific flow connections because it might have a spreader tube inside to distribute the hot water evenly across the rad, difficult to say for sure

You cannot connect both pipes at the top, at least one must be on the bottom preferably on the opposite side to the flow at the top
