Copper or Hep2o joints?

When I have my bathroom re-furbed, I was thinking of having the 15mm plastic piping replaced with 15mm copper piping and soldered joints.

The plumber indicated that plastic piping with Hep2o joints and liners are a much superior product to copper. He said copper joints have a guarantee of 1 year whereas Hep2o joints a guarantee of 50 years.

Are these a better product than copper piping with soldered copper joints?

    Thanks.

I'm old school, prefer my copper & soldered joints, don't trust push fit, especially out of site, hidden away under floors or behind panelling.

  3. Copper is a far superior job although it takes longer to install.
It looks like he just wants to throw it in by using plastic or does not know how to use copper.
If a Plumber told me a soldered copper joint had a guarantee of 1 year he would very quickly get shown to his Horse.
I would be looking for another plumber.
