    Bought a flat where kitchen tiles are in good nick but look terrible. Looking for cheap option which I can do myself (basic DIY skills) eg wall panels + splashbacks behind cooker. Any ideas re options and best suppliers?

    Thanks.

    Cheap and easy option is to paint over them using specialist tile paint and following all prep stages to the letter;

    Your suggestions of wall panels or splashbacks will work, as long as you can fit them yourself to keep the price down
    Worth bearing in mind though that any corners you are going to clad are unlikely to be perfectly square, so some work will be required to get a good finish
    Also I guess you will need to make cut outs for wall sockets

    You can also tile on top of the existing tiles and pick up some really good looking but cheap tiles

    Depends on your level of diy ability and costs really
