just hit the click and collect on the dewalt dcz2982c2 set. great reviews by screw fix customers... 4.5 out of 5.
One or two of the reviews mention a 3 year dewalt warranty. However, when I enter the impact driver on the dewalt site .. comes up as not covered 3 for yeArs ?
Anyone know if it is or not ?

Can't find it,you got catalogue number, might be made specially for screwfix, so only a one year warrenty.

A quick google comes up with the message, some tools are excluded from 3 year warrenty, you can check on link below for your impact driver.
Darn stupid if your drill has a 3 year warrenty, & impact doesn't, but I'm not surprised with Dewalt, had a lot of hassle claiming on their warrenty some years ago, ended up changing to Bosch.:)

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'll see if screwfix can clarify when I pick up them up later.

Yup, dewalt 3 year guarantees get activated by registering.
There are some exceptions. Batteries - 1 year, I've an orbital sander that's one year and a torch. All of the 18v tools seems to be 3 year
