The one tool that i always moan about the cable getting trapped is with my old Bosch planer. So when I saw a cordless planer was really interested - until I saw the expected price of the bare unit £167
Its one of the tools that gets a lot of use for a while then gets put a way for months on end. Hence when I saw the price of the Dewalt I thought my 10 year old Bosch planner which cost £30 then, has had little use and some abuse will last a while longer
I'm an engineer, but I borrowed a planer once. Holy ****,woodworking tools scare me by the speed they run at.
Got two Bosch planers here, one very old, other much newer, neither haven't been used in 12 maybe even 18 months.
Only for doors - the bane of my life Old houses, frames not square, hinge sockets cut too deep, mashed up holes, screw heads snapped off, frames split, people buying cheap doors and leaving doors in damp conditions and then complain because they split or warp. just remebered why i dont use the planer much fitting doors in old houses is the pits
Nope, it's either the Festool or my block plane. Perhaps your joiner is as big an idiot as your plumber, are you all related?
