Dewalt is launching their MD501 Android phone in late April or early May in the UK. designed to survive a 2 mtr drop. http://hexus.net/ce/news/mobile-phones/92444-dewalt-launches-md501-rugged-android-smartphone/ http://www.its.co.uk/blog/?p=3629&preview=true
Why do they insist on launching phones that don't run the current version of Android. Ver 5.1 is 14 months old. I know someone who had the JCB version they never updated the OS from the day he got it. Had to upgrade as less and less apps would support the old OS.
I am happy with my donkey's years old dumb phone. As long as I can make phone calls, recieve phone calls and recieve texts from people cannot be bothered to call.
Can't even make a phone that can stand up to your back pocket. (remember the bendy problems with the iPhone?)
