    Advice from a professional please:
Is there any way to make a thin inexpensive white emulsion into a thicker more opaque paint that requires just one-coat? Thought it might be achievable by adding pigment paste or powder, or some other means? Cannot return the paint unfortunately, and have all the ceilings in my house to do. Thanks.

Is the paint a little thin? To answer your question, no.. You will have to give it 2 coats to cover I guess.

Of course you can and the result can be very good. I would give you several brands, but I do not know if this would be considered as SPAM the forum, ...
