If the greek debt is written off then Irelands, Portugals, Spains, Italy etc should be written off too.

Then get the printers running to write out more bonds. LoL.
That should sink the euro for good. [IMG]

Even nowadays in Greece, people still hate the Germans. Went to Crete a few years back and some of the local hoteliers won't even have German tourists in their hotels. Some bars won't even serve them drinks. ;);)

  8.

As you hopefully know, I have also pointed out on a few occasions the irony that modern Germany often being the country that sets the higher moral agenda for the rest of Europe, often leaving Britain in shame.

I pointed out the awful treatment of Turkish workers in Germany DA, Seems it wasn't worthy of a reply from your good self. Setting a higher moral agenda obviously doesn't include this from "Das Mutterland" ;);)

Merkel always had a face like thunder. Stick a moustache on her and the likeness to Adolf is striking. :p:p:p:p:p

The greek people voted no to stringent eu austerity and now the greek pm is accepting most of the proposals set by their creditors.
Most Baltic states are rubbishing the greeks proposals.
But as ever the corrupt French who gain the most out off the eu establishment are calling the plans "Credible".
    You couldn't make it up.

The UK stands to lose £1.5 billion whatever way it goes.
Maggie warned them about the single currency and she was vilified and disparaged. Even by her own cabinet.
What a load of berks they look like now. Howe, hestletine et al.. etc.
And of course the rest of the pro eu camp.
