Just found the news i did not want!!! drive belt just gone on a belt sander, i cant believe no spare parts are available for the erbauer tools, thats pants for sure. has anyone got any ideas of alike for like replacement, I an sure a belt would be cheaper than a new (better make machine) one.

Just buy branded next time, own label is the same everywhere. Cheap, nasty and disposable.

Hi Captain Leaky, carried out some research, and can only but verify your comments.
Sorry Rafell for leading you down the garden path.
Many thanks for the warnings, I will now steer clear of certain brands.

Aye you can get the odd bit for odd products but basically they are all rubbish anyway - as you have found out. Buy branded.

Bought an Erbauer 50 Ltr wet & Dry vac. someone used it to suck hot oil and melted all the hose. Impossible to get replacement hose. But SF did exchange under warranty. BUY BRANDED

erbauer are fair priced tools however when they go wrong the best chance of the spare part is on ebay  by finding similar model for spares. very annoying though if its the carbon brushes worn out and nought wrong with the rest
in this day of recycling and carbon footprint its sinful
wake up S F   start to sell basic spares for your own make

I discovered that I cannot get a replacement vacuum hose for an Ebauer vacuum. However I was able to buy a complete Numatic Henry 32mm x 2.5 metre extra length hose on Ebay (Cost £5.95 inc. carriage). The Ebauer end fittings screw onto their hose with an anticlockwise thread and can be unscrewed. If you cut the fittings off the Henry hose it will screw back into the Ebauer end fittings. I hate planned obsolescence!
