Hi Can some one advise me what wood I need for fencing I have 6ft planks and there around 4 x 1 but when I went to builders yard last time he said I need some thing like that but a bit smaller what they use for fencing but can't remember what it was.
Type of fence you trying to build, post & rail, closed board? Fencing rails are usually around 38mm x 88mm size & various lengths up to around 4.8mtrs, posts again different sizes 75mmx75mm, 100mmx100mm, other sizes available, plain top, sometimes weathered top(pointed).
