In desperate need of some help before I take the 'plunge' and buy a plunge saw! Had my mind set on a festool but after going to data power tools, they spoke very highly of the Bosch gkt? Anyone have any views on these? Thanks in advance
Don't know much about the Bosch but I love my Festool. From looking at some Youtube video's on the GKT it seems you cannot use it on its side to trim doors etc. in situ? It might not sound like something that you would use but it got me out of a fix on Friday with a pair of large double fire doors which we couldn't remove from their Floor Spring closer. Made a PITA job very easy. Also paired with a suitable extractor the dust collection is second to none. I don't know what advantages the GKT has over the TS55 is any.
