Is there anyone here with any experience of these heaters. The blurb sounds impressive. http://www.fischerfutureheat.com/

We have them in our home and they are really efficient. There are some independent reviews online at https://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/fischer-futureheat.co.uk. Check them out.
I'd be very dubious about TrustPilot reviews. It's only possible to leave a review for Fischer if you have a "reference number" issued by them. I had problems with a dodgy company that exploited this; they had lots of dissatisfied and ripped-off customers but were careful to only issue reference numbers to people they knew were happy, hence the reviews were great. I thought TrustPilot had stopped this practise but they clearly haven't. So take with a pinch of salt!
It is not possible for one make of electric heater to be more efficient than another. They are all 100% efficient (unless they have a fan of course!) These adverts you see in the week end papers about German engineering blah blah are all horse droppings! Some may look prettier than others but they're all the same under the skin and they all cost substantially more than oil or gas fired systems.
